Hou rekening met het feit dat de serie ooit gemaakt is voor TV uit de vorige eeuw
In het kort, zonder al te veel uit te wijden in technische termen:
Amerika (oorsprong van de serie) had destijds het NTSC systeem (525 beeldlijnen), Europa het PAL sysyteem (625 beeldlijnen)

Het vertonen van die oude kleurcodering op hedendaagse beeldapparatuur gaat dan zoals te verwachten enigszins scheef
Daar kan een oude TV serie niet tegenop, dus is er enige moeite gedaan de beeldkwaliteit 'op te peppen' naar hedendaagse maatstaven

'The Monkees' is online gezet vanwege nostalgie en voor degenen die deze tijd/serie toen -inmiddels zo'n 50+ jaar geleden-
bewust hebben meegemaakt/bekeken   
Ze zongen 'We're the Young Generation ...' in hun opening song, da's d'r nu wel eh, een beetje vanaf ......  bij mij in ieder geval wel

Veel plezier ..... met 'The Monkees' destijds het Amerikaanse antwoord op de van oorsprong Engelse Beatles
